About Us

EVAN was organized to bring the arts to the Lake Elsinore Valley.  Our specific purpose is the advancement of education and the promotion, development, and coordination of cultural opportunity within the City of Lake Elsinore and its surrounding areas, and for charitable purposes by aiding cultural organizations, providing advice and consent to such groups, and providing assistance for grants.

Each summer, EVAN produces "Music With A View", a free summer series of four outdoor concerts.  Visit www.musicwithaview.com for the upcoming concert's schedule.  The first year we had approximately 1,000 attending the concert series.  During the 2005 series, we estimate our attendance to be a total of approximately 2,500 to 3,000.  In the coming years we hope to continue to increase our attendance.

Each year since our organization, we have held a Young Poets’ Contest within the Lake Elsinore Unified School District for grades 4-12.  The winners read their poems to their parents and guests at an awards program where they receive plaques for first, second, and third place as well as honorable mention winners receive certificates.

We participate in all of the community functions for children including the Children’s Fair on the Saturday before Easter, and donate money for the Winterfest in December where snow is brought in on the first Friday of December.
